So people who have never trained a dog before, they come to our program and they get these skills. Right? So five dogs would all love to play with me all at once. A hundred percent. No doubt about it. But they have this understanding. And here's what behooves me. The statistic that of all the people that own dogs, of all of you people watching this, only 3% of you will train your dog. This is easy. This is just playing games. Just playing games every day. And sometimes you might even, you have a busy family, you don't get to them every day. I'm just going to, I'm going to just release that puppy and let her, this is, I don't want her to have to stay on this live for the entire live. So I'll just, release. Come on! Good girl. Okay. So she's going to go, and her leash is right there if you could grab it. So she's going to go and go on her little road trip. It's just unfair to expect a puppy to have to stay here for the entire time that I'm on with you guys. I don't know if I can, there we go, swiping left. And so, it's like three, like I said, of all of you watching, statistics proves now, maybe it's higher for those of you who watch this because if you're watching my channel, chances you have an interest in dog training. Three percent of the people who own dogs will train them. Well, will attempt to train them without just expecting them to be brilliant. Of those three percent, half will try to do it at home. Meaning, they'll like go scroll through social media and go, oh, I can just do this or pick up little tidbits here and there. That's 1.5% that will bother taking on a mentor like myself, entering a coaching program like myself. And the time you will waste trying to make these mistakes on your own is crazy to me when a program like ours is attainable to anyone. We have so many people that go through the program that have never owned a dog before, as well as people who are running their own schools who just want ideas for their students. Yeah. Let's have some hearts for the rescue boy.

I'm going to turn that around so you guys can see the rescue bulldog who, you know what, he was turfed out of his first home because he had zero control. Because he had destroyed three couches in their home. They couldn't walk him on a leash anymore because he pulled everybody over. They kept him, they would keep him in a crate almost all day when the lady worked 12 hour shifts. And then they would let him give him this freedom when she would go out and on a date and the dog would destroy their home. And so when we got him, Kim's first comment was this, have we made this big mistake? Is this crate? He's like the poster child for our program now. So it doesn't matter if you have a rescue dog. It doesn't matter if you have a dog that isn't typically like people say, oh, border collies, they're so easy to train, which I think that's an insult to people who are struggling with border collies. So anyway, somebody in, I put a post earlier today and I said, listen, would it be helpful for you if I went live, shared what recaller games in action look like with, by training all five of my dogs at one time. And, you know, there's not many professional trainers that would put themselves out there with a dog, a puppy. And so you got to see what did I do when my puppy made a mistake. I did the square root of nothing. That is, I just told her to hop it back up because a dog's behavior doesn't define them. They're not a bad dog or a misbehaving dog. The dog's behavior defines the training we need to do. So by her getting off when I trained Swagger, she didn't get off when I trained Tater. She wouldn't have gone off when I trained any of those other dogs. By her getting off when I trained Tater, her behavior told me, or when I trained Swagger, her behavior told me, I need to work long duration, stay in position under higher level distractions than whatever Tater Sal had presented. All right. And so, you know, there's so many dogs that are labeled as reactive dogs or, or aggressive dogs or stupid dogs. Like people, people who their dogs get, get, uh, they get failed out of obedience class. It's not the dog who failed guys. It's the people who are instructing you. They failed to motivate you to take daily action, which is what our Recallers students do because it makes you have a little joy in your life every single day when you're playing with your dog. It's just playing. I don't know if you're seeing if there's any comments on either of those threads or questions. So I said, I would answer questions here because Recallers closes tonight. Um, at midnight, it is not a subscription.

It is a month or it's a year long coaching program where myself and my team, we put you through this series of games, 40 games. And once you're done that, then we work on, do you need a better retrieve? The bulldog didn't like toys, wouldn't retrieve anything when he came to us. Look at him now. Yes, ma'am. I love this. This is awesome. Right? So, and so then there's other classrooms that you can, that are on the, uh, on the aside. Once you go through the games, the games are everything. That six month old puppy is like that because of the games we play with her. And guess what? My life is about helping other people. She doesn't get trained every day. Well, let me living with me is getting trained every day because I can't, I just love playing games with my dog. So going to open the front door, there's a game going for a walk. There's another game. Right? Everything is a game. And that's what makes you want to take daily action. So if you've ever been told your dog failed out of obedience class, it wasn't you who failed. It wasn't the dog who failed. It was the system that failed you. Dogs deserve better than that. Okay. I'm, I'm here to answer questions, not go on a soap box. So Sharon sent us one. Yes. Do you eat breakfast every day? We help you put the games in there 90 seconds. That's it. You can say I've played my recaller games. I did 90 seconds, right? That's all, that's all you have to do. It just, you know, it, the, the, the program itself encourages you, almost guarantees you're going to take action. And the really cool thing is we, I don't know of any other dog training programs that do this. There may be some out there, but I've not seen anybody that encourage people to come in and join, try it out for two weeks. And if it doesn't work a hundred percent, your money back, no questions asked. And I know it'll work. And you don't even have to, you don't even have to tell us why you want out. For those of you who were trying to decide if you wanted to join Recallers or not. I said I would show you some of the games in action. And I think the biggest thing is so many people today have more than one dog. And so when you're trying to train one dog, wouldn't it be nice to have that? Where do you hear? Do you hear that? That would be my dogs not barking while I'm training another dog. So few people have that. It's built in to what we do. Do your noises actually mean anything to your dogs or are they just for us? It depends. Some of the noises, well, I wasn't, I don't think I made any noises for you. So I guess they're all for my dog, but some of the noises are cues to do things. Others are some meant to be a distraction depending on which dog I trained. Sorry. I didn't know which one you asked about. Should I get Recallers if I got Crate Games and Homeschool the Dog recently? That is a question you should write to the team about, wagatdogsat.com, because the answer is it depends how far along you are in there. It depends on what your dog is needing. Recallers is a year long coaching. Homeschool the Dog is a great program, but it's four months and it's 12 games.

And there aren't all of the extras like the walking off leash that my puppy just showed you, that all of my dogs can show you. That's a fun game based program called Jaywalking that's due to be released in Recallers very soon. Those of you who've got dogs that need grooming or puppies, if you can tell you, two of my friends have got doodles recently and I tried to get them to get on grooming ASAP. All you groomers out there, you can thank me later. We have a program called the Pedicure Please that gets your dog wanting to be groomed. So the dogs will come out, you give them a cue. They, they, well, let me just show you. I don't know if you can see me here. And then I have a new game show for you. Um, this. This is nice. I'm going to pretend I'm going to cut her nails. Ready? Down. Flop. Flop. Good. So she's in the flop position. I would take her, take her nails and I would, I would cut them. And if she lifts her head up, she say, I'm not comfortable with what you're doing. But if her head stays down, good. Search. Good. That's how, that's how we get them liking to have their nails. And it gives them the opportunity to say, I'm uncomfortable with this. Can you please stop? And we do. And we don't move forward until they're comfortable with it. And you end up with dogs who, my dogs all like come charging when we're cutting somebody's nail because they want to be next. And I got to tell you, it wasn't always like that. And if you've ever owned a terrier or a pug, he's part pug. You know, that's not always a fun event for them. Can you, what were you doing now Mary? Yes. Do you want a new, um, game? Do you want a game within a game? Okay. So I'm going to, one game from each module, I'm going to give it to you. I'm going to, I'm going to tell you which one and you can choose whatever dog you want. Okay. So question is this good for puppies that are 10 weeks old? Oh my gosh. Any puppy 10 weeks is the perfect age. This you will in a month's time, you're going to go, oh my gosh, I can't believe my luck that I landed on this live tonight. In, in two months time, in six months time, your, your friends are going to be saying like, this is the dog of my dreams. Like they're going to have puppy envy. So absolutely. It is definitely something for a 10 week old puppy. Get on it. Yes. Okay. Game within a game. Okay. Does it matter what dog you want? No, you can choose a dog. I'm going to give me a game. Or do you need to do something different? No. So the training happens in layers guys. And so when you come into recallers, you might say, I want my puppy to heal like Susan Garrett's puppy at six months was. So where do I get that information? You go through the program is strategically layered. And the reason that the puppy behaves so well, isn't because we train her hours a day. Seriously. She might get trained. I don't know an hour a week. And that's not something I'm proud of. I think if you have a young puppy, you should be training more often than that, but we're busy here. Now, again, she gets training within the life with us, but formal training is not a lot of things. It's not a lot, but because it's games, the dog is making their own choice. Therefore they want to keep playing these games. Okay. How are we for questions? I got one here. Marie Butler, best money I've ever spent. Susan and her team are extremely helpful. And Mary, car chasing, barking, lunging, German Shepherd. Let me tell you what we work towards. Right now, your dog is saying, that's a distraction. That's a distraction. That's a distraction. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. What we do is we help create what I call environmental neutrality. So what previously was a distraction is white noise. Remember I told you about the bulldog that you couldn't walk down the street.

You couldn't, like you couldn't hold him back. I don't know if he saw a cat, a squirrel, a chipmunk, a leaf falling. But if you play these games, what we're doing is we're building value for you that comes to you, regardless if you have the favorite squeaky toy or a handful of cookies, because the value gets transferred from the cookies or the toys into the games. And then by playing the games, the value gets transferred into working with you. So you have value, which is why the dogs will respond and respond fast, which means they're less likely to notice the distractions in their environment. So yes, I can wholeheartedly tell you, you will be blown away at the difference. You will see if you follow the program as it's laid out, which is easy to do, which is why people who've never owned a dog before get these great results. Okay. Ready? The game within a game. Okay. And then tonight when I went to go, I said I would go live. I'd made this spur of the moment decision that I put it in our group. I'm like, wait a minute. I still have all this set up. So make it look like it gets a beautiful set, right? Yeah. It was set up from, from videoing the other day. So Karen has a great question. Homeschool the dogs and then recallers. And when would I add in class, in person class to my five month old puppy. So Karen, I'm assuming that you're getting your puppy out and they're walking and they're seeing other people and other, other dogs. And, and at this stage, if you are gone, it depends on how far you are through recallers. You could just for more distractions. Remember, I'm going to just, I'm going to, I don't know if this will work. Okay. So everything that we teach comes in these layers. So the first layer is connection. And we have, you know, 40 games in the program. And so probably the first, I mean, they all build connection, but the first five to 10 are really focused on that. And then clarity. So clarity at response. I would say that would be five to 10 here in the first, I would say two to three year book connection. Clarity of building a response. So come when called.

I'm sorry on YouTube that you can't read this. And this is adding challenges. And this is complexities. But what happens when you take a puppy to class too early, you're introducing challenge and complexity when you really should be growing confidence and connection. And so you've done great training your puppy at home and getting them out and about letting them see all of life's experiences, kids on bikes. And, um, you know, when I trained this, it was in the middle of COVID. So I couldn't even do that. And so we're playing makeup with a lot of that. So you've done, you've done great, really quite great, right? Five C don't add challenge before you have added confidence. And a dog who makes a mistake like our German shepherd that was lunging. That dog is, oh, it's okay on YouTube. Oh, thanks for that feedback. A dog who's lunging is giving you feedback about the direction your training needs to go. Your training needs to go in adding more confidence when I see a distraction like another dog. And somebody said, um, is it okay? Um, can you train in an area that's four by six? Absolutely. So I have not come out here to train during this entire last couple of weeks when we've been working through, um, the connected dog. This is my professional training building. I probably do less than 20% of my dog's training in here. 80% happens either outside or in the house. So these games, you do not need a big air space for. Thank you for that feedback on, on YouTube guys. Good to know. I've never done a live, like just going live on YouTube. It was quite an event. So I have two that you can address. Maybe you can talk about the five C challenge with them. So the people who have separation anxiety are coming up. Lunging, aggression. Um, so all of you that are putting those in there, Susan's going to address fearful. Um, so, so a lot of, a lot of people are saying my dog is fearful. My dog has high anxiety. My dog is very reactive. My dog has got aggression. You know, there's such a range. There is such a range in any one of those labels. So I, and it depends on how many events you've seen the age of the dog, yada, yada. But what I can tell you, we've had so many people that have come through the recolors program that unfortunately their dog was reactive.

Their dog was showing aggression and playing the games, giving them clarity about what is expected and what is going to earn them. Reinforcement has changed those dogs. Now I'm going to make it very clear. I am not saying all of behavior problems are going to be fixed with recolors. There will be some behavior problems guys. You will need to get a certified veterinary behaviorist or a certified behavior modification expert accredited, not somebody who calls themself a behaviorist. All right. So will recolors absolutely help you help your dog no matter what your behavior problem is? Yes. But will that be all you need? I can't promise you that. And I want to make it clear. I am not saying this is like the rate, the, the unicorn and we'll get, bring all goodness to everybody. Okay. Okay. Uh, I just started my obedience and agility beginners class with my nine month old. Would this agility course interfere with recolors? Again, what does a nine month old in agility class look like? If you were in my agility class at nine months, it would look like a pretty much an extension of recolors. If your agility class has you on any agility equipment, it would not be a class I would recommend you going into. So I've been doing agility for 30 years and I do not let my dogs on any equipment. We do a lot of connection, confidence, building games, building control, building understanding, but we don't go on any equipment. So recolors would be a, a beautiful compliment to that because you saw the great drive and, and control that my dogs had. Right. I, I, you know, I will be those of you who are joining recallers. There is no equipment needed except your dog to do recallers. Your dog, maybe a toy if your dog likes toys, whatever your dog values.

So, as human beings, I would say there needs to be more of an awakening with dog owners to recognize what is my dog's behavior? What is... What direction is it telling? Where most people will look at like a... Let's take a nine month old male, intact male, Rottweiler, German Shepherd. I don't care, whatever you call it. And... I'm going to interrupt this story with Liz. Yes, we give you... You can earn CEUs. So, a puppy. And a lot of males and even my Border Collie, Buzzy, intact. I think he was about two when he started growling at other dogs. Now, what some people will say is don't let him get away with that. You need to tell them to knock that off. Your intact adolescent males growling at another dog is giving you feedback on the direction your training needs to go. And so, anytime that you discipline the dog for it, you're suppressing their voice. You're taking away their voice. And now, they can't tell you that they don't like that. All they can do is bite. Because you told them growling wasn't acceptable. And so, always, always, I would love for there to be this massive awakening of all dog owners to the behavior of their dogs and recognize...

I say this so many times, our dogs are always doing the best they can with the education they've got from us. In the environment, we decided to put them in. So, it doesn't matter if your dog is afraid of getting in a car. If your dog is anxious around other dogs. If your dog is pulling on a leash or won't bring back your toy or jerks off your arm when they're near water. That behavior is giving you feedback on the direction you need to take your training. I hope that makes sense, Debbie. There's a question about applying the same principle to grooming as you do with toenails. Yes. We encourage that. So in the pedicure, pedicure please program, I thought it was great with naming that as an alliteration, but I got to tell you, I trip over it almost every time I say it. We encourage people to use it for grooming, for brushing your teeth, for cleaning ears, for any kind of husbandry you have to do with a dog. We encourage you to use that program to build in the dog's confidence and acceptance and even relaxation of those processes. Okay.
