[contact-form-7 id=”2117″ title=”Things that go Boom and Bump in the Night”] Things that Go Boom and Bump in the Night Intro Who: Kayce Cover is presenting “Things that Go Boom and Bump in the Night”, an introduction to teaching animals to cope with extreme, percussive sound events. What: We are making the online event recording, “Things that Go Boom and Bump in the Night” available for listening on Saturday, Dec. 6, from till. This event talks about things you can do to help animals cope with fireworks, thunder and gunshots,. Even without formally therapy or training, many sound fears and phobias can be greatly lessened with some simple help from you. Compared to other sounds, thunder and fireworks are often a bit harder to lead an animal to coping success, because we cannot control their occurrence during the teaching phase. Nonetheless, I find that a single event – such as a fireworks display, or a severe thunderstorm, can give me enough time to really make a difference in how the animal copes with future similar events. When: This recording is available from now until Monday 12/8/2014 at Midnight. Why?: There is no better time than the holidays, to improve pets’ coping skills. With the holiday time crunch and tension, increased flow of visitors and workmen, travel, unusual decorations and occurrences, and overall stress related to holidays, it is a great idea to prepare pets for the melee and address their concerns with extreme events like fireworks. And the Christmas holidays lead right into New Years fireworks. Ready to register for the class? Click Here ! What’s next?
