So one of the most important things is matchmaking. If you're looking for new boyfriend, husband, wife, whatever, you're going to look for a match. What does that mean? Somebody who has maybe the same beliefs, the same interests, the same energy, you know, brings a similarity to the table that you can align with. Now for dogs, it is no different, really. That means if you're going to select a breed, that's not where it stops. Because you could say, oh, for example, I want a Malinois because the Malinois is highly driven and he's this and that. Hold on a second here. The breed has a large variety of personalities, energy levels, interests, and so on. So that means you can have a complete mismatch, even though the breed might match well with you and what you bring to the table energy-wise and interest-wise. For example, everything is about purpose in life and so is it when you choose a dog, what kind of purposes you want to give your dog. Okay, if you want to do protection work, you're probably, for example, going to be looking into shepherds, etc. All right, that is great because they have been shown to be very versatile and good at it, but not all of them and not all of them have that same energy. And then, let's say you do your homework and you get a breed or whatever, you find the puppy of your dreams and then it ends up not to be that puppy. But I'm going to tell you that not everything is just a coincidence. Sometimes, you literally get what you look for and that means what you guys need to do is study parents. You need to see how they are in drive, how they do their bite work, how you have to do your research on this thoroughly, not just a video, not just a demo. You just don't go online and watch these dogs. You have to go in real life because that's where you can measure the energy. You can see the synergy. You can see, like, is this really something I want? Are these traits something I look for? And if the answer is yes, great. Do I see both these parents having these traits? So, the chances become more and more likely you're going to get what you look for. But most of the time, people don't do that kind of stuff. And that's why they're very disappointed what they get. And for me, for example, I usually get what I want based on the selection criteria that I put on the parents. Now, all the mismatches that I had is usually because I have not done my research. I didn't have time. I was just like, let me put on a deposit on this litter. We'll see what happens. And then afterwards, I started digging in and I wasn't surprised. You see, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

That is a true statement. That is a true quote. Because literally, these dogs usually become like their ancestors. If it's not the father or mother, maybe the grandfather wipes them also. So, that's why pedigrees can be interesting. Not the fake pedigrees, but the real ones. The real ones that where you can, for example, still contact people who have these dogs, who are still alive. Talk about them. Do your due diligence, as they say. And you will find out maybe there is a match from heaven right for you. And that's what it's about. Because the more energy you get from your dog, the more work you're going to put in. The more satisfaction you will get. The more passionate you get. The more addicted you get to training your dog. And that is the most beautiful thing in the world. That synergy. Just because you find what you're looking for. And this dog found the owner that they need. And that's why they also have purpose. That's why some breeds are like underperforming. Not because they're not trained well enough. Because they're just not getting that type of exposure to what they can really shine in. Or at. And that's a pity. So I suggest in the spirit of Valentine. That when you go and get your dog. And even if it's an adult dog. You want to select your dog from the shelter or whatever. Still matchmaking should be the number one priority. And let's say worse comes to worse. You have decided to get a dog. And you don't feel it's a great match.
