MVP(최소 기능 제품)라는 것은 제가 그동안 해온 모든 것과 모든 단계를 빠짐없이 공유하는 클래스를 만드는 것이었습니다. 사람들이 무언가를 가르치려 하면서 전체적인 그림을 보여주지 않는 것을 제가 정말 싫어하기 때문입니다. 그들이 어떤 의도를 가지고 무언가를 숨기기 때문이죠. 본인들이 직접 경쟁에 참여하고 있거나, 자신들의 모든 비법을 알려주면 상대가 나가서 자신들과 경쟁할 수 있기 때문에 알려주지 않는 것입니다. 저는 그런 방식을 절대 반대합니다. 그건 인격이 덜 되었다는 것을 보여줄 뿐입니다. 사람들에게 지식을 가르치겠다고 돈을 받으면서 제대로 알려주지 않는다면, 그것만큼 잘못된 일은 없습니다. 그래서 제가 MVP를 통해 한 일은, 모든 것을 다 걸겠다는 것이었습니다. 그것은 브리더에게서 개를 데려오기 전부터 시작해서, 브리더와 어떤 이야기를 나눠야 할지, 무엇을 확인하고 무엇을 살펴봐야 할지, 무엇을 물어봐야 할지, 그리고 브리더가 어떻게 반응할지에 이르기까지 모든 것을 알려주겠다는 의미입니다. 저도 수많은 브리더를 만나봤기 때문입니다. 당신이 가서 '저 왔습니다'라고 말합니다. 이제 테스트를 좀 해볼 준비가 되셨죠. 브리더들은 당신을 보며 '대체 무슨 테스트를 하겠다는 거지?'라고 생각할 겁니다. 당신은 경험이 전혀 없는 상태로 가니까요. 저도 직접 겪어본 일입니다. 경험이 전혀 없죠. 강아지를 고르러 갑니다. 당신이 브리더에게 이래라저래라 하는 것을 그들이 순순히 받아들일 것 같나요? 물론 아니죠. 그냥 그런 일 중 하나일 뿐입니다. 그럼 집에 처음 데려온 날은 어떻게 될까요? 개를 어디에 둘 생각인가요? 어떤 선택지가 있을까요? 집 안에 둘 건가요? 밖에 둘 건가요? 견사를 만들 건가요? 여러 사람이 이 개를 훈련하게 할 건가요? 말 그대로 첫 단계인 A부터 이제는 직접 전체를 운영할 수 있는 단계인 Z까지입니다. 이제 사람들을 가르칠 수 있습니다. 이제 드라이브를 전환할 수 있습니다. 복종 훈련을 할 수 있습니다. So what the MVP is, for me to come out with a class where I was going to share everything that I've done, every step, not skip a single beat, because I absolutely hate it when people try to teach you something and are not showing you the whole picture. Because they're holding back for whatever own agenda they have, either they're competing themselves, they don't want to give you all their secrets because then you can go out and compete with them. I'm absolutely against that kind of stuff. It shows just a low type of character. If you're going to charge people for your knowledge and then I give it to them, that is as flawed as it comes. So what I've done is with the MVP, I said, I'm going all in. That means everything from before you even pick up that dog from the breeder, I'm going to tell you what to talk about with the breeder, what you want to see, what you want to explore, what you should ask, maybe how he's going to respond to you. Because I've also met many, many breeders. You come in and you go like, hey, I got my set. You're ready to do some tests here. They're going to look at you like, what are you going to test? You come in with zero experience. I've had this happen myself. Zero experience. You come in to pick a little puppy. Do you think they're going to accept you telling your breeder what to do? Of course not. Just one of those things. Then what happens when the first day comes home? Where are you going to create them? What options do you have? You want to create them in the house? You want to create them outside? You want to do a kennel? You want to have multiple people work this dog? Literally from A, the first step, to Z, which means now you run the show. Now you can teach people. Now you can switch drives. You can have the obedience. You can do it all A to Z. No stone unturned. That's what the MVP is. It is a talent management program for yourself and your dog. We're going to highlight five major pillars for people, the five major skills for people, and the five major skills for dogs. If you master all five and the extrapolation towards your dog, all five for him, all five for you, now you have become a master of your craft, I should say. But make no mistake. The paradox of dog training is you will never, luckily, you will never ever truly control a living animal. Especially if you respect its natural instinct and traits. But if you respect those traits and you can use them, he will or she will do it for you in return. A dog is relying on mutual respect. Because you know the respect you get in return from that dog from not touching his physical integrity is very rewarding for you as well. But the people that are balance training, they'll say, I'll use tools because you know how to use the tool. And I use tools myself. You know how to use a tool to never again come in close touching that dog's integrity. So a dog is losing faith in you, distrusts you, or cowers away from you, or even looks away because he's unsure of what you're about to do. You never want any of that. Okay? So you want the best, the best of anything you can do and apply. Right? That's why the handler skill is massive. Because whoever already has an older dog, some people here, including myself, will lose their dogs along their journey because they get old. Maybe some of them get cancer, whatever happens. It just happens. It's a real thing, guys. If you have dogs and you're not 96 yourself, you're probably going to outlive your dog. It's just one of those things. But what you will never give up in return is the skill that you've earned from training your dog, the skill that you've put in so you could do it again if you ever wish to get another dog. And that's a tough one. I've had dogs that I've, I bet you notice how that feels when something's going to happen to that one dog that you really love. It's really hard to do it again. But if you really love dogs, you're going to do it again. And if you've mastered those skills, you can multiply it as much as you want. And that's the beauty of it. The thing is, the beauty of experience is not how good you got at the skill because you get really good at it sometimes in just a few months. It's being able to see what is possible because you've done it before. And now your strength and belief has become so much bigger because you've already created a result. See, so then you don't have to establish that vision anymore because that is truly the hardest thing is imagining things. But once you've already done it, now you can redo it again and again and again if you want to.
