제 경험상, 저희 개들은 모두 아이들을 좋아하지만 저는 명절 연휴 동안에는 아이들이 개들과 함께 있는 것을 허락하지 않습니다. 자극 요인이 너무 많이 겹치기 때문입니다. 누군가가 잘못된 방식으로 말할 가능성이 너무 많습니다. 저는 제 조카들과 함께 그런 위험을 감수하고 싶지 않습니다. 그래서 아이들이 개들을 보고 싶어 할 때는, 특별한 시간을 정해서 우리 모두 다 같이 내려갑니다.
Now my rule of thumb, my dogs all love kids, but I still do not allow the kids with my dogs during holiday celebrations. There's just too much trigger stacking. There's too much opportunity for somebody to say something in the wrong way. I won't take the risk with any of my nieces and nephews. So when the kids wanna visit the dogs, it's a special time and we all go down there together.
