question and, um, be honest with your comments as you always are, because I want to help you. So my question is on a scale of one to 10 with 10 being not at all. And with one being not at all and 10 being hell yeah. How confident are you about your dog training plan for the next three months with your dog? So how confident are you? One being, um, haven't really given it much thought for the next three months and 10 being, yeah, I, uh, I'm got it because like I'm in recallers. So I know what we're doing. Uh, Sharon Steele says a thousand because of you. That's awesome. Sharon. Thank you. Penny says nine hearing just fine. Thank you. And yes, if you have any questions for me, happy to answer them, Elizabeth, we're going to help you with that. Elizabeth is to appreciate your honesty. So 10, I'm already in recallers. So I'm going to try again with this. Um, see if I can change my audio again. Let's see. Sometimes if I go live and I haven't changed my audio before I go live, I can't spend that. I think that's the case today, but that's okay. I'll yell really loud if I get out there with my dog. Okay. 10 because of recallers. Bruce says 10 because of recallers. Debbie says two or three and Debbie, I want to help you with that tonight. So we'll talk a little bit about planning and we'll talk about if, if we have some resources that we can help you maybe send, send them your way because yes, Mark says, Mark says, Mark's in recallers. Boom. Just starting. Can't wait. Yeah. We've got you. Eight. Uh, I'm in recallers. I see a difference with grin dogs. Um, I know what I should do, but I need to be disciplined. Sue let's reframe that because I'm going to tell you, uh, this, this quote that I had written in every journal I had, um, a quote that I rewrote. So there's a famous quote that says, champions in any field do what other people find boring or uncomfortable. And that quote implies that you have to be disciplined to be a champion. And I don't necessarily agree with that. I don't mind doing things that other people find boring or uncomfortable, but I'm highly unlikely to do it on a regular basis. I'm surely not going to do it every day consistently, but what I will do is I'll take what other people find boring or uncomfortable and I'll turn it into a game that they all want to play. I am great at making up games for my dogs. I'm great at making up games for me. And that's where I don't believe discipline is what gets you there. I believe creating a plan that has reinforcement built in. And for me, that's a game. So discipline is a, is a crazy word.

Because it means like I'm willing to stick needles in my eye to get what I want. You know, somebody might do that once in a while, but nobody's going to do it on a regular basis. I actually asked a friend of mine. I have a friend who won, uh, seven medals at the Olympics, six gold and one silver. And I asked him, do you believe this quote that champions in any field will do what other people find boring or uncomfortable? And he said, no, I don't believe it. And then I told him the way I look at it. And he says, yeah, a hundred percent. Um, so the question that I asked everybody is like today, tonight we're four hours. No, cause it's Pacific time, six hours, seven hours away from closing registration to recallers. And I want to know, do you have a plan? Can I help you? So again, welcome to those of you who have joined recallers, but I know for many of you, it's not this, this isn't the right time for you. And so I want to make sure that doesn't mean you're going to lose this momentum that you've just built up in the season of nuance. What is going to happen next? So how about you leave me a comment? Do you have a plan? Like what is your big domino? What's the number one thing that you're going to work on consistently over the next month? Let's just narrow it down to a month. Who wants to train? LOH. One of our big, well, let's do different versions of reinforcement zone. We'll start, we'll start with, um, the puppy. No, we'll start with mingle and we'll just work on stationary reinforcement zone. So reinforcement zone is important for everybody. Every single person that is on here, this should be a priority for you because it, Kim, can you just come out and do a little walking on loose leash within reinforcement zone? So if you're just have a, your goal is to have an amazing family pet. You want to be able to walk down the street and you can just walk, walk behind me here. Do you want a real leash? You got a slip leash on. Do you want Kim's bark, Kim's dog barks. We, we should forgive her that. We forgive her for that. Okay. So, so reinforcement zone, the first time you get introduced to this is game day five in recallers. And it's about creating value, creating value for being seen on your scene. That's funny, Sherry. Private joke. And I will tell you more about that Mark Spick's joke. So being seen on your scene, if you can see Kim, her dog is just walking beside. Now let's say there's a dog coming up towards you. We want to change her to the other side. So she just changes her over to

the other side and the dog can go by her. So that's what we want for our family pet that they're, they don't need to pull ahead. They don't cross your path. They'll stay on one side. And, and if you see something that might be a distraction, you could just change from one side to another. It's pretty simple. Okay. So that's what we're, that's where we want. And I'll show you a little later how that translates to sports, but let's just take Mingle. Who's working on this. Mingle is a border collie cross with a Jack Russell, and she's a baby puppy that we're working on value for reinforcement. So all of you, all of you, like there's so much value for chasing other dogs, for chasing bicycles, for chasing, but we need a dog to have value for being at our side. So much of our dogs, see how Mingle wants to go out in front? Because so often we pat our dog in front, we give them their cookies in front, we give them their dinner in front. So they say, oh, everything good comes from the front. We need them to find more value at the side. So we're just doing one little step with little Mingle and rewarding her for that one little step. So, so important. Of course, we'll break this down even further for those of you who are brand new to this, but this is where we're going. LH, what would you like to do about reinforcement zone? Drive into reinforcement zone? How about that? Put you on the spot? That's good. Okay. So many things that I want to do. It's so overwhelming. Tell me one thing, one thing, cogno, ergo, sum, pana. I hope it's not, I didn't just say a really bad word. Tell me one thing, making myself more constant with training. Sharon, we're going to make that a game that you'll love to play. Puppy comes June 18th. Woo, Christy. What kind of puppy? What kind of puppy? I have a plan kind of, but I know it will fall apart as soon as I start and usually I want too much at once. Well, guess what? Who is it? Mike Tyson says, we all have a plan until we get punched in the mouth. You know, that's like metaphorically speaking that the plan is not going, the plan isn't what takes us to our destination. The plan is what moves us forward from where we are. Then we get punched in the mouth by our dog's behavior. And the plan is a new plan. So, so what Linda's going to do with her poodle puppy is she's going to do something a little bit more advanced than what Mingle did in that she is going to ask the puppy to move. So find that reinforcement zone. I'd like you to take him off leash, Linda, and let him move further.

So take, come towards me and see if he will stop in reinforcement zone. A little further. Keep coming. Keep going. I want a head of steam from that puppy. Keep coming. There we go. Does he flip in front? So a little bit of a flip, but Kim or Linda's going to help. And then because she had to help, she's not rewarding him. She's giving a little pat. That was good, but we can do better. And now she's going to try it again. Okay. So a plan isn't what takes us to our destination. I want to be clear about that. A plan is what gets us to train tomorrow. So I'm not quite there. So put out a, put a little target form, Linda, that'll help. So, but if you don't have a plan, then you're not progressing at all. Because failure gives you some grains for your next progress, right? You need to get out there and do something. My dog punches me in the mouth. What do I do? You come up with a new plan, right? Mike Tyson. We all have a plan till we get punched in the mouth. And then we've got to just say, what's next? How do I get my puppy to respect the door and not just run through it? Layers of recallers, my Maria. So if you watch my live from today, the door was open. So my two dogs walked, walked down and they sat at the door. I had opened the door. Then the bulldog came down and the door was already open. He sat at the door. So I didn't have to say sit to a single dog. It's just a game. Why is it consistent every single day of their life? That's how we go outside. It's just a game. Puppy comes October 10th. Farm companion dog. Congratulations. That is a lot of anticipation. I love the way you're thinking in the future, Sarah. That's awesome. All right. Working on jaywalking with my 15-week-old puppy. That is loose leash walking with a dog having value for reinforcement zone. How do I keep my dog from going crazy with excitement anytime a person or a dog is within eyesight? I simply don't know how to control him. So love wax. That is a very interesting handle. I'm going to say love wax. Can I call you love? Our dogs are behaving as dogs. What we don't want to do is to control them. We want to inspire behavior change. So Prophet loves to work and he had to just watch three puppies work while he sat in his chair. Do you think he would have liked to be up there chasing those puppies, telling them how to get to get to reinforcement zone? Absolutely. However, I would never have him sitting here if he was going to fail. So we don't want to set our dogs up for failing. People are loving your name, love wax. Vinti Fata said, love wax is my new brand name.

My new brand name. There's a lot of love for love wax out there. So it doesn't happen overnight. If you look at the game, some of you may not have been in the season of nuance. So if you were, there were four games I taught you. Five, five games we talked to. Those five games will take you to the sixth. Again, for those of you who are joining recallers tonight, that will take you to the sixth, seventh. There's four games in there for you to learn. Those layers will take you to a different place than you are today. Having a dog relax while other dogs are working is not a layer that is going to be layer five. So we have the little puppy that we saw to start tonight. She is nine weeks old. Could she sit in the chair and watch those dogs doing different things? No. Would I say, how should, how can I control that puppy? No. I would say, what was I thinking? Put a nine week old puppy here and expecting her not to want to chase. So we have to go from game day zero, where you're starting at recallers to game day one. Those five games that you learned in the season of nuance will help you. Then we go to game day two. So again, I know some of you aren't in a position to join recallers and that's okay. I still want to help you. I want you to think about what is your game day one tomorrow? What are you going to do? We're going to continue to try and give you some, some things, ideas that you can do, but you've got to have a plan. What's your game day one? What is the one thing that you can do? Okay. Somebody says they love the, oh, the purple and turquoise are beautiful. They are the colors of suicide prevention. So, all right. Perfect. One of my biggest issues is my husband is not being consistent. Should I get rid of him or the dog? Kim said she knows that one. Let me think how many of us here have a partner that is or has had a partner. My husband passed away a few years ago. Who has not been consistent? So one, two, three, not even tried. Here's the good news. When you train like this, the dog learns whose rules they have to follow. And maybe it will take you a little longer to get to a place where your dog consistently listens to you because there's like, you know, one step forward, one step back, two steps forward, one step back, but that's okay. It'll take you a little longer, but you'll still get there. As long as you're the one being consistent. And I don't want you being consistent to cause any kind of, what did I call it the other day? Not friction, adversarial moments in your relationship with your

partner. So it's okay if, if you're being consistent and you're, and your partner might not be, but what hopefully will happen is your partner will see the success you're having with the dog and say, what, what can I do to get that success or not? They may not care. Kim's partner doesn't care. My past husband didn't care. He loved the dogs and didn't care that they didn't really listen to him. Occasionally he did care, but so yeah, it's, it's okay. It's okay. Um, so serious question from Vinti Fata. Is it common for young dogs to be nervous in new indoor spaces? They haven't been in before. 100%. Yes. And that lack of confidence is dependent on so many things. Um, breed. So my border collies are, are far less competent than say, uh, a friend's golden retriever or Labrador retrievers. And I'm just patient saying, remember if you've been with me on these lives or you've been with me in, in the series, we talk about what do all animals, what are their, what is their number one need safety? So a dog will show signs of fear when they're in a new environment because they are unsure it is safe. It's, it's so true for you and I as well. Right. You know, in my, I'm going off topic a little bit, but I'll come back. Um, my podcast recently, I've talked about people who choose to use electric collars. And I've said, I would love to have conversations about reinforcement with these trainers, but I know it's maybe not even possible because I couldn't go into their environment and feel 100% safe, nor could they come into my environment. There'll be one part of them as it would be with me. That would feel something that would be helpful. And I would say, well, somebody just wants to set me up to go, aha, because we're so, we're so driven by our, our own vision of how dogs should be trained. And so your dog going or your young puppy, especially a young dog going into a new environment, um, will not feel safe. Um, tater salad. He came to us when he was 15 months old and I always called them the anchor dog because I could take my young border collies places with him because he was a boat anchor. Like he didn't care about anything. He was psychologically safe anywhere. Um, within reason he, he has a little bit of sound sensitivity to thunder, but new environments didn't bother him. And so I would take him along with one of my border collie puppies and they would look at him and go, oh, well, he seems to think it's okay here. And yeah, it's okay here. All right. So be patient with your young dogs and what's going to help the games that you play at home,

the games you've learned in the season of nuance, those of you who are going on with us and recallers, the games we will continue to play with you, that gives you something to do when your dog goes, what was that? I'm not sure. I think I heard something. And then you could go, can you hand touch? Can you do reinforcement zone? Can you? And they go, oh yeah, I can do that. And they kind of forget about now. Again, if you are somewhere and you're by yourself and you hear like a crack behind you, you're walking in the woods. What was that? But if you're walking with a group of friends and there's that crack, it's different, right? Because you're safe. You feel safe. And the dogs are the same. Okay. John says a 16 year old dog. I can't get her to calm down enough to train her. When I try to pick her up, she backs away. I can't figure out what to do. What's her number one drive, John? It's safety. So if John, were you in the season of nuance? Because I would start with, can you do a search game? Can you do a cook game? You can't reach for a dog who isn't 100%. And it's not that, like some dogs will back away because maybe you've picked them up to put a harness on them. And now they're like, oh, I don't want that thing. That's poison. Maybe you should have brought out something that we could have done some conditioning with. So everything, if you just take your time and look at your dog's behavior, what is this telling you? I can't get her to calm down. That is who she is. We can do relaxation games. So I can take, I'll take my puppy out and I'll just show you two different games. I'm going to try and get this banner off the, off of the, there we go. Question off of there. So I'll go right in front of you. So you should be able to hear me. Prophet, can you bring me this thing? All right. So I'm going to play an exciting game. Strike. This is an exciting game. So there's an exciting game I can play. I can also play a relaxing game. Can you guys see on the screen? Yeah. So this is a relaxing game. So, so if I just said now we're going to relax, this is what we're going to do. Now we're just got a relaxing dog. And if I stay here with them like this, he would fall asleep. Right. And exciting. He says, I like the exciting game better. Okay. So getting a dog to calm down or getting a dog to get excited is about reading our dog's emotional state and saying what is appropriate now. That, that, can you get your thing? Where's your thing? Where's your thing? Bring it to me. Thank you. And then go up in the chair. Thank you. So what, what do we need? There are times I want my dog to be very excited.

There are times I want him to be completely calm. So it isn't that I, I need you to, it is what are the layers I can, I can add to you so that you can be relaxed in this environment. I, I would love for him to be relaxed while other dogs do agility. So it's up to me to help bring him value for being relaxed because early on, when I trained more than one dog, the dog whose turn wasn't, it wasn't, who was sitting watching would be barking and scream. I didn't like that. I want you to just conserve your energy and wait your turn. Does that make sense? So what it, what it is, what is it that you would like to see now? What are the games you can play to give you what you would like to see? What are those games? Okay. So Mara says, my aunt has a new puppy. So I came here to get some links is efficiency, the best argument in favor of science-based training. Wow. I think it depends on what is, what is, what is it that you value? Um, I mean, some could say that there are more efficient ways. I don't think so. I think the number one argument for me is it aligns with my moral compass of how I want to relate to my dogs. That's, that's what I want. I want to have the kind of relationship where I never have to say, no. Did you hear what I just said? No. Look at my dog. No. He doesn't know what that means. He's never heard it before. We train with games. I don't have to have that kind of adversarial relationship with my dogs. And I think for me, that's what I love best about training this way. And I think when you're first learning it, it might take you more time. You might not be as efficient because I've been doing this for going on 40 years now. And so it's become more second nature to me. For some of you, it might be a brand new world. We had a recaller student, brand new recaller student, um, that started today. And he asked us to help him troubleshoot. He wrote into, um, on, on our recallers website. Um, he wanted to help troubleshooting because he's over six foot and his little Habbonese puppy is really small. And at 91 years old, he's struggling bending over so much. Like good on him. 91 years. I want to learn what this game-based stuff is all about. Boom. How cool is that? Okay. There were some questions. LOH, are you seeing any that are coming up that I should address? Can you train a calming response to sound sensitivity? There are things you can help depending on how, um, oh, there. Okay. That's, that's a great example. So question is, can I, can I train a calming response to sound sensitivity? I'm thinking, can I make my dog who's shaking and peeing and chewing the walls during a thunderstorm be calm?

That's different than, can I teach my dog not to jump on me when I sneeze? Both are showing, uh, anxiety to a noise. One will be much, much easier to teach a calming response to. So 100%. Why can I help you teach a dog to have a better response to sneezing? Because you can control that. You can help them build a more appropriate response. So things like, um, crate games will help. Hot zone will help. All of our, um, recaller games plus our, our relaxation protocols that we have in pedicure, please. All of that will help for sure. So can you take a dog? What other, other serious phobias that dogs? Thunder is probably one of the, so if you have a dog that is like that beyond. Um, reactive to something like thunder or gunshot. Um, there's some fireworks is another really, really good one. We can help make, we actually have a webinar inside of recalors. We can help make that less stressful, but can I make that dog calm? Highly unlikely. Not when they're that far gone. Um, do I have in-person classes at this facility? No, we don't. We don't anymore. Everything's online. So Allison Scholstrom asks about Charlie. Oh, Charlie. Are there games to help Charlie learn to stay off the counter? He, he loved the season of nuance. He's very food motivated. She has never, she has never gotten anything from the counter, but knows it's all the food is up there. All puppies know all the food is up there. Don't they? Allison, you are in recalors. So you're going to start playing game day. Number one. If you haven't already done that, you're going to work through game day one, two, three, and four, and four. And your puppy is going to, as you're doing that, you're going to create environments of safety, hot zone outside of the kitchen. Uh, we call it the gated community. So an area in your house where Charlie is going to spend more time in your car in a crate. These are areas of safety. They are must haves. Non-negotiables, as far as I'm concerned, is those areas where you don't have to worry what Charlie's looking at or sniffing at because you've got to live your own life too. So number one is managing resources. Well, Charlie, who's 12 weeks old and 100% super cute, learns appropriate behavior around the house. And number two, um, when, when you can't pay attention, those are the zones of safety. Hot zone will be way down the road when, when she's, you know, maybe when she's six months old, she'll have that, that level of, um, response that you can do that right now. Great games and the gated community. Those are biggies. I think she should be celebrated for noticing. Mmm.

So many people miss the sniffing or the air sensing and then ask about the bread coming off the counter. Mmm. So, so Linda pointed out that she wanted to celebrate you, Alison, for noticing that this, the air sensing. That is so seeing a problem before it's a problem. I love that too. Right? So now you're going to go, all right. So any right now, what can I do? If I see Charlie air sensing, I am going to break into a game of it's your choice. And when he backs away or she backs away, then I'm going to take her outside of the kitchen to give her a reinforcement. I'm not going to reinforce her anywhere near my counters. That's what you can do right now. Patience for remembering my seven month old 77 pound puppy is learning. Wow, Debbie. I'm hoping that's not a border collie. That's crazy. I thought waffles was big. Waffles is big, but not 77 pounds. That's crazy. What's the best game to play to get my dog to bring the toy back consistently? There is a program in recallers called bring me. And that's it because your dog knows how to bring a toy back the way you've allowed it to evolve. There's been reinforcement. One of the greatest games of retrieve as somebody who loves behavior, love studying dog behavior. One of the greatest games of retrieve I ever saw was in Houston, Texas, actually. We have a lady in the house here from Houston, Texas. This dog, the woman would throw the toy. Many, many border collies. We have border collie people here. What do border collies love about the game of retrieve if they have their way? Right. Herding. Well, no, they're just you and the dog. So stalking the item, chasing. What I have boiled it down to, what they love, I think they get the dopamine hit, is being able to see the toy leave the hand. If they could, they would jump up and grab it from the hand. Okay. So this, let me, off topic again, but we're just having a discussion. It's informal night tonight, right? So this woman would throw the toy. The border collie would bring it back at a trot like a canter. When it got near the woman, it exploded into an all-out sprint by her. So he could drop the toy about 15 feet behind her and scream out in front, knowing how long it would take her to walk back, pick it up. And the dog would be facing her to see the moment the toy left the hand. It was a thing of beauty. But man, I wouldn't want to play game of retrieve with a dog that way. But I just love, I just like, I just love the study of behavior. And I love to see how people have been shaped by dog. I just think it's a thing of beauty, personally. How many shows do you have been shaped by one piece of beauty?

Which piece would you like me to show? Linda wants me to show you one piece of the bring me game. What piece would you like them to see? All, okay. I'm going to do a demo of a retrieve game that helps the dog come back to me. How many of you people, how many people, their dog does not bring the toy, they fly out to their ball or their Frisbee or their toy faster than they bring it back to you? How many? Anybody here? So what was that? Yes, you do have the opposite problem. Okay. I'm going to show you a little game. This is an advanced part of the bring me game. It's a, it's a recaller game too. Is it not? Yes, it is. Absolutely. It is. It's now everybody's game, but it just started originally as a recaller game. Okay. Okay. Okay. So I'm going to, I'll put the toy. Can you see the toy there? Yeah. Okay. I'll be right back. Okay. Okay. So the toy is right here. Ready? Ready? Steady. Ready? Steady. Ready? Ready? Ready? Ready? Ready? Ready? Ready? Oh my goodness. What? Did you see that dog rowling as he came in? He couldn't wait to turn around. I ran by him and he had to keep running fast to get that toy. Okay. I pulled a muscle in my leg and that was not good for it last week. Anyway. Um, so that's just a little, that's a part of the bring me program. Um, okay. Okay. So many of you have got this question. Is there a game that will help my dog too? None of these games will help your dog do much. None of them. But what they will do is together the games create synergy to overcome just about any problem that you have with your dog. Individually, they're just like, they're like tricks. They're like, I could show you. He can wave. Individually, it means nothing. But when the games all come together, they create synergy for that dog that gives them confidence in new environments. Teaches them what to do when your guests come, come over. Tells them you should get, come back when you're called. It's the synergy of the games. There is no magic. Oh, just teach this game. Which is why we tell our students there is an order to the way you play these games. And we strongly encourage you to stick to the order. Are crate games included in Recallers or should I start there? Excuse me. I'm just gonna grab some water. Yes. There are crate games are game day six. Yeah.

Game day six in Recallers. It's a really important one. So we give you not the entire crate games program, but enough that you will have success with your dog and be able to add to it moving forward. I haven't played that game with him for a long time and he loves that game. I think pretty much all of our dogs love that game. Do you know the slides Sarah gave you? What people do? All the things. Sarah gave you some slides the other day that you went through. I don't remember what slides. All the things. The extras. Yeah. Okay. We had a student who, um, was in, who's still in recallers, LaDonna. And, um, she told me prior to recallers and finding, um, finding our training. She'd had, she, they'd had recaller, or they had Dalmatians their whole life, her and her husband together. They were married for over 60 years and, um, they'd never slept through the night. Not once. Every single night, one of their dogs woke them up until they found us. And then they were able to sleep through the night. I can't imagine that life. That where your dogs wake you up every single night. It's a, yeah. Don't wake the mama. Don't wake the mama is a hard rule. Unless something, you know, you have some projectile that's coming out of an orifice, then that's different. Yeah. LaDonna King is a star. Uh, LOH, did you have another one? They are just so triggered by movement that training them will be difficult. I don't care what games you have. Um, you're not going to get reliability with a sighthound. So I don't know. Um, some, we have had people in wheelchairs. Yes. We've had people in, um, scooters, electric scooters, wheelchairs. Um, yeah, quite a few that have come through our program. Um, oh, I have a German shepherd, uh, greyhound mix. Woohoo. Question about reactivity. Um, is this program for reactive, sometimes aggressive dogs that live in New York City with

little control over the environment outside of my apartment? So she's triggered on every walk. Matthew, first of all, I'm that I'm sorry that that is so tough to deal with because it's outside of your control for sure. And we have had so many people come through our program that what, why is your dog that has had reactivity that yes, the program has helped improve that dog situation. I will not promise it will solve every problem, but will I will promise it will bring your dogs a different level of confidence and focus for you. And so then the distractions of the other dogs are not going to be as overwhelming because the dog has a different level of confidence in that environment. Of course, every reactivity case is different. So, you know, it would be irresponsible of me to say everybody with a reactive dog recallers is going to make your life. Amazing. Recallers will make your relationship amazing. And that extra confidence. Definitely. You will see a difference in your dog. Um, but not knowing what you're dealing with to start. And I'll put 25% in the bowl so that they get the experience of eating from a bowl. But I absolutely use their rations. Okay. So this is little nine week old poodle or Border Collie puppy. And Linda with her poodle, he has made mistakes with other puppies and has left work to go and chase the other puppy. So this is a real test for her poodle. So you can choose to put your Border Collie puppy on leash or get further away from Linda. So the distraction isn't as strong. That's good. Is it fair to say from the name of the course that at the very least we can expect to wind up with a rock solid recall? Matthew, 100%. And way more than that, way more than that. You're going to have a dog who knows their safety and security walking on leash beside you. You're going to have a dog that will be comfortable. Like if you were going to visit family or friends, and you could just bring a hot zone or a dog bed and they go, okay, this is my spot and I'm good. And I know what's going to happen here. So there's so many, there's so many things beyond just a recall that you're going to get 100%. Did she have a little accident? No, no. Oh, you're just putting on her leash. Okay. Oh, taking the dog off, puppy off leash. You'll be able to recall back to your dog perfectly. Your dog will be able to recall back to you. Okay. I'm scanning to see if there's any other questions because when the video was playing, I think you guys, yeah, Nanette said there's just so many won't recall breeds that have bad wraps. Huskies are a great example. And yes, beagles, the bulldog. He's got a great recall. Yes. English pointers. We've had them through for sure. Okay. So this is how we work two puppies. Yeti is an,

I think he's a year old and he has struggled with other puppies because he wants to visit and he wants to play lots of terriers, lots of terriers, um, in recolors. Now, Simone, just see if you can pull out, pull out the toy and see if she'll stay engaged for a second. Try and get her on that toy, Simone. Will you get a terrier to recall? 100%. Um, I've had two Jack Russell terriers and one border collie Jack Russell cross. And then believe who you saw at the beginning here is Staffordshire 50% Staffordshire bull terrier. So absolutely. My, my Jack Russell's that I could call them off of rabbits. I could call them off the chipmunks squirrels. You name it. 100%. Yeah. Bruce says I trained my last Airedale with recallers. Brilliant recall. Didn't chase wildlife. Great on leash. I'm here now with my, uh, ADT. She'll be brilliant too. Welcome back, Bruce. So this is really hard for this little baby. So what I'm going to recommend is if you can pick her up and you move her to the back of the school, see if you can get engagement back there. And Linda, you're going to come this way. He's been successful. Actually, Linda, I want you to come and sit down. Oh, what's it down? Yeah. So this is hard for Linda. Linda had a failure, a big failure. Uh, are there any DNA tests I recommend? We've used Embark in the past for, that's what we use for tater. Okay. Do you got engagement? See if you can get her growling back there. So the puppy was getting frustrated. So we're going to get further away from the distraction. And can you chase this tug toy? That's what I want to know. How do great Pyrenees do a hundred? Oh, amazing. Amazing. As long as the people find joy in the breed, the breed doesn't matter. This works for all of the dogs. When it doesn't work, we had one student that was very frustrated by what she was doing. And I asked her this one question and she couldn't answer it. I said, do you love your dog? Cause it is harder when you don't love the dog. I'm getting, um, I'm going to see if I can change cameras here. Cause it's getting very foggy. Here we go. There she's got it. Move this a bit up. So I'm going to click on it. of what I'm working on and the date and the topic, but that topic, and then I put like a smiley face, a happy face, whatever, if I'm happy with that day's session, but then the topic, I'll go to one of these tabs and it will tell me what I was working on. So I'll just look in the tab and I'll know, oh yeah, on this date, this is May 19th, this is what I was working on, a little bit of fear of the hose. So create this for yourself. You can make it pretty or you don't have to, but don't get so wrapped up in the pretty that you're not training your dog. Moving forward, this is what's going to help gamify your training a little bit so that you can go back and say, this is today, here's where I'm starting, here's the challenges I have, and here's what I'd like to set as my goal. Three months from now, this is what I would like to be. This is where I'd like to be. Here are the things that I'm going to try to do to get there. Write it down. Write it down. And ideally, if you can take videos of what's frustrating you now, if you've got pictures of your dog sitting with the shredded couch that we have from Tater Salad, then he didn't do it at my house, his first house. Take those pictures, have those things, and then you've got something to go, all right, there's where I was, here's where I'm going to be. That gives you a gap. We call it a healthy gap. I know where I was. I've got my journal.

I'm going to play the games that Susan taught me, and I'm going to see where I can be a week from now, on a month from now.
