약이 진짜 문제는 아닙니다. 문제는 우리가 사람들에게 약에 대해 어떻게 말하느냐 하는 것입니다. 마치 약이 필요한 이유가 뇌 질환 때문이고 그 약이 뇌 질환을 치료하며 약이 안전하고 효과적이라는 식으로 말이죠. 비록 1년 이상 연구된 적이 없는데도 말입니다. 결국 나중에는 이런 모든 문제로 이어지게 됩니다. 제 말은, 만약 우리가 우울증의 기저에 있는 실제적인 문제들을 해결하도록 돕고 약이 하는 역할에 대해 거짓말하지 않는다면, 좋지 않을까 합니다. 제 생각에 생리학적으로 햇볕을 쬐며 밖에 나가 우리 신체가 설계된 대로 움직이는 것은 기분을 조절하고 에너지를 발산하는 아주 좋은 방법입니다. 개들도 마찬가지입니다. 하지만 반려견에게 SSRI(선택적 세로토닌 재흡수 억제제)를 투여하기 전에, 물론 저마다 다른 개들이 있지만, 어떤 개들은 움직이도록 길러졌습니다. 그들은 움직여야만 합니다. 그들에게 필요한 건 그게 전부입니다. 우리가 그런 노력을 할 수 있길 바랍니다. 즉, 그러한 사고방식이 동물의 세계에도 적용될 수 있기를 바랍니다. 동물 세계에도 말이죠. I think physiologically being outside in the sun, moving your body like your biology is designed to is a is a great way of regulating your mood and getting energy out. And that's the same for dogs. I mean, but before you go and put your dog on an SSRI, I mean, some there's different dogs out there, but some dogs, they're bred to move. They need to move. That's all they need. And I hope we could do that, you know, that it will translate that that level of thinking can translate over into the the animal world. [Music]
