[07:26]Sophie의 경우, 그녀 자신이 스스로 열정을 보였고(the ignition came out of the person), 그 열정이 끓어오르고 있음을 증명했음(she showed us that the water is boiling). [07:26]Sophie가 "Hey, I'm come working for you guys. Make me a deal."(이봐요, 당신들과 일하러 왔어요. 라고 제안했을 때, 두 사람은 "Whoa, what a brutal bitch is that?"(와, 정말 당돌한 사람이네?) [08:44]Bart는 자신을 향해 "I am too old to continue."(나는 계속하기에 너무 늙었다.) [08:44]NePoPo® Gold multiplicator의 역할: "And the existing NePoPo® Gold people, by becoming Gold multiplicators, they will do the hands on dogs for minimum 40 hours, minimum five days." [19:35]massage programs, go with the flow)해야 하며, 현재는 Gold 졸업생만이 멀티플라이어가 될 수 있도록 설정되어 있음 [20:01]Pet obedience(반려견 복종 훈련)와 Puppy training(강아지 훈련) 산업은 매우 거대함 [20:55]Sven(Sophie의 남편)과 다른 동료 한 명이 말(horse)을 대상으로 NePoPo®를 적용하고 있으며, 이는 매우 큰 잠재 시장임 [20:55]Old NePoPo® 방식을 그대로 적용함 [21:21]1 milliamp(1밀리암페어)의 낮은 stim(자극, Martin System® 수준)과 연결함 [21:21]left heeling(좌측 힐링), right heeling(우측 힐링), stop(정지), walk away(멀어지기), come to me(나에게 오기), walk(보행), trot(속보), gallop(구보), whoa(워워), changing gears(보폭/속도 전환) 등이 완벽하게 작동함 [21:53]Amish horse(아미쉬 말)였으나, 훈련 후 그 어느 때보다 행복해함 [21:53]Amish horse의 최대 장점은 안정감(stable)이며, 2피트 거리에서 전기톱을 켜도 동요하지 않을 정도로 차분함 [22:20]NePoPo®의 핵심인 NePo(negative-positive)와 PoPo(positive-positive)를 더 많은 사람들에게 알리지 못한 것이 과거의 아쉬움임 [23:13]NePoPo®의 목표는 개가 cue(신호)에 맞춰 마음과 영혼을 다해 움직이게 하는 것이며, 항상 합법적인 테두리 내에서 훈련을 진행함 [24:05]NePoPo®를 알아야 한다는 판단하에 숨김없이 투명하게 공개하기로 결정함 [24:31]e-collar(전자 칼라)를 사용하여 기계적인 훈련 방식과 결합하면, 물리적 체격이 작은 사람도 말을 효과적으로 통제할 수 있음 [26:39]e-collar의 전압을 말의 예민함에 맞게 극도로 낮춰 사용함: "1 milliamp and level 18 is 1500 milliamps in reality when it's the normal tuning" — (일반적인 튜닝 상태와 비교하여 매우 미세하게 조율된 수준으로 사용한다는 강조) [26:39]18 (레벨)은 200을 나타내며, 이는 40,000에 가까운 수치와 비교하면 사실상 '아무것도 아닌(very nothing)' 수준임 [27:04]rising stim(상승 자극)을 동물이 반응할 때까지 누르는 방식을 사용함 [27:04]tuning(튜닝/미세 조정)의 개념을 이해하지 못하는 사람들이 많아 안타까움 [27:04]NePoPo®는 전체 업계보다 20년 앞서 있음 [27:04]tools(도구)에 머물러 있음 [27:30]e-collar를 저단계에서 올바르고 명확하게 사용하면, 물리적인 강압 수단보다 훨씬 덜 침습적(less invasive)임 [27:55]level two(레벨 2, 4 milliamps/4밀리암페어)를 사용함 [27:55]unfriended(친구 삭제)를 하는 등 반발함 [28:20]horse people(말 훈련사들)은 이를 'un-horsemanship like'(말 훈련답지 않음)라고 비난함 [28:46]bond(유대감)가 중요함 [29:37]toy(장난감)를 주는 것이 전부가 아님 [30:02]respect(존중)도 있어야 함 [30:02]sex and violence(섹스와 폭력)라고 지칭하며 나누는 가벼운 농담 [30:28]Michael과 강사 본인이 Martin System®의 지분 100%를 소유하게 됨 [30:55]kick into people(사람들에게 자극을 주고) 변화를 이끌 수 있게 됨 [30:55]Silver School 과정은 3일간 진행되며, 매우 강도 높은(brutal) 교육이 될 것임 [31:20]Springfield에서 열리는 새로운 Silver School에는 Multiplicator(곱셈 효과를 내는 교육자/전파자)들이 참여할 예정임 [31:20]Silver 학생들은 Gold 졸업생들, Martin System® 팀, 그리고 Sophie를 직접 만나볼 수 있음 [31:20]Multiplicator는 20명만 선착순으로 제한됨 [31:45]Silver 학생들과 Multiplicator들이 서로 소통하며, 각자의 전문 분야와 프로그램을 공유할 수 있음 [31:45]40 hours(40시간), 5 days(5일)임 [32:11]Gold 단계의 교육자들은 서로 quality(질), dreaming, daring, doing(꿈꾸고, 도전하고, 실행하기)을 기준으로 경쟁하게 됨 [32:11] [32:36]Michael과 본인은 매일 Facebook과 소셜 미디어를 확인하며 새로운 시도들을 지켜보고 있으며, 훌륭한 결과물들에 놀라고 있음 [32:36] [33:01]NePoPo®의 메시지를 진심을 담아 전달하고 있음을 확인했으며, 이는 Michael과 본인이 올바른 방향으로 이끌어왔음을 증명함 [33:01]electricity(전기/e-collar) 관련 오해: "We are brutal with electricity" (전기를 잔인하게 쓴다)라는 비판에 대해, 개를 관찰하는(read the dog) 것이 핵심이며 결코 잔인하지 않음 [33:26]NePoPo®는 단순한 electronic training(전자 훈련)이 아니며, 핵심은 stopping the pressure(압박을 멈추는 것)임 [33:26] [33:53]food(음식) 사용 시: 전체 개의 95% 이상을 훈련 가능함. [57:42]nose classes(노즈워크 수업)는 환상적임. 현재 nose work는 개의 훈련에 있어 미래를 상징함. [57:42]nose work에는 책임 소재(liability)가 거의 없으나, 앞으로 생겨날 가능성이 높음. [57:42]Sophie@napoportraining.com [58:58]Sophie에게만 연락하라고 공지해도 여전히 직접 연락이 오는 경우가 있음 (사람들이 공지사항을 잘 읽지 않음). [58:58]"passion means I was always a guy with a little hand and lately I did not have that little hand anymore because I had no more passion" — (열정이란 섬세한 감각(little hand)을 의미하는데, 열정을 잃으면서 그 감각도 함께 사라졌었음) [60:21]Isabel: GAPAI(Mr. Ring의 단체)의 독일 챔피언이자, 승마계 출신의 전문적인 equestrian lady(승마인)임. [64:10]apopotraining.com [64:38][00:00] You were on him, you rode him. Well, I did rode him without saddle, but I did glide off. So when I was a young kid, I did read all the books from... We're not recording, right? Live streaming? I'm pretty sure we're live. No, we're not recording. When I was a kid, I did read all the books from Carol May about Western. [00:34] He was a German writer. And in my imagination, I was always Winnetou, the Indian. And they ride without the saddle. Yesterday, I changed my opinion. I'm going to become old Chatterhand. So where is this showing? It should be on our page, on the Kaizen K9 page on Facebook. [01:02] Okay. So we go on Kaizen K9. Yeah. And then we share it immediately. We go on mine because I'm too stupid to do that. Yeah, it's on. It's live. The power of this media is you reach the whole world immediately. It's crazy, isn't it? And it looks like we sit in a pub. We just miss the beer. Yeah. Well, you have beer time. [01:28] Well, we have coffee time here. Well, well. Okay. All right. Shall we kick off? Michael and Bart Bellen, welcome again. And also welcome to Sophie. Sophie. Maybe Bart and Michael, you could introduce Sophie for us. Sophie Verlinden is our new Naperville community manager. [01:54] And she's taking care of everything I used to do and more. Because we're setting up new things. We're getting a new website. Sophie, take it away. Yeah. Yeah. So what can I tell? I'm going to introduce myself first. So I am. I was born in Belgium. But I live now in Germany for about 10 years. [02:21] I'm married to Sven. Sven is my husband. And we have together two children. Sven is also a gold graduate. He participated in the school last week. I'm 47 years old today. But tomorrow I will be 48 years old. So tomorrow is my birthday. Oh, really? Okay. So note that, Bart. Tomorrow is my birthday. [02:47] Yeah. I studied marketing. And the day after I graduated. Can I hear that again? Sorry. Sorry. Architect? Marketing. I did not say architect. I said, whoa, we hired the architect. No, no, no. You hired a marketing graduate. Yeah. And after I graduated. Can I interfere? Wait, wait, wait, wait. You know what? In our interview, we even did not request what are your studies. [03:16] No. I know. Now I know something. Now it makes sense. Bart is happy. Yeah. I didn't know that. No, you didn't know that? Okay. No. No, neither one of us knew that. We just, we just, we just read the person in front of us and we were like, you're perfect. Okay. Thank you. But after I graduated, I started my job with, with Doug Food.
[03:45] Doug Food is a brand name, a Belgian brand name for raw dog food. And I worked there. And I worked there for 26 years. So I was there in charge of marketing and export. And to be honest, I do not know that much about dog training. And I do know a lot about dog trainers. So that's also very important in the job. And I was, of course, I was in contact with a lot of trainers all over the world. [04:13] And that's also how I met you guys, Michael and Bart. So a few years ago, I wanted to publish an interview for Doug Food with Michael, with the title, Next to Every Strong Man Stands a Strong Woman, Michael Ballon. There is a nice song about that, eh? What? There is a? There is a nice song about that. [04:39] Beside Every Strong Man Stands a Strong Woman. You have it. I don't know that. You always play it. Remember me of something. He means he can stand by me or something. He means I can. I'm going to find it. Okay. I'm going to post it. Okay. But, yeah, for the first meeting with Michael and Bart, I was also very nervous because I know that they are very, yeah, popular in dog world. [05:09] But from the first meeting, Sven was with me. We felt a huge connection with them. And it was like, yeah, they were friends from the first moment. And we, every time they were in Belgium, we met up and we had always a great time together. And, of course, from the one conversation comes the other. And it was time for me to start a new chapter. [05:38] And because Bart and Michael announced last year that they wanted to quit the gold school and the silver school, there came a huge reaction from all over the world. And they start thinking about something new, a new concept. And that's why I am here now. So now I am the community manager for the Nipah Post School and also work for Martin System. [06:06] And, yeah, I'm going to give it all to make it happen together with you guys. Yeah. So that's a little bit of my advice. Yeah. Sophie is another A-team player like our Martin System crew, which, as Sophie knows them all now, you know why. Yeah. We're crazy for that team. And you fit in perfectly. So it's a fantastic group of people. [06:33] We're beyond lucky, you know. Ben, what is important to mention is that Michael and I did not send out a note that we were looking for a new member in the team. So Sophie knocked on the door very brutally and said, here I am. Remember the name of my skydiving team? Brutal is my name. And she said, well. We were talking about the skydiving team.
[06:59] Okay. Oh, my God. Well, forget to tell me. I was in the Belgian skydiving team. Of course, it's a long time ago. But I was a member of the national team for Belgium. And we participated in the World Games in Australia. And it was a great time. Yeah. What was the name of your team? The name of the team was sex and violence. [07:26] Okay, it's out. You're hired now. But you see, it's actually very Napopo-ish because she... It was bullied. We didn't solicitate. The ignition came out of the person. Her. It came out of her. So she showed us that the water is boiling. [07:51] She's ready to go. Yeah. And, of course, we already had a bond. We had a relationship. It's very interesting. It means that, again, you can hire people via whatever method. And then you have to solicitate a thousand people. And then you think that you hired the golden bird. In this case, she was knocking on the door and said, [08:18] Hey, I'm come working for you guys. Make me a deal. Okay. We were a little bit like, Whoa, what a brutal bitch is that? I wasn't. No, I didn't say that. Anyway, we worked fantastically. And, of course, Napopo was a little, how should I say, it's not a mountain, but it's a... A little hill. [08:44] A little hill that she received from us. And she's going to make a big mountain out of it. And we're going to reveal the new plans that we did cook for a few months already. It's a virtual game, dream, dare do, where you must find the benefit of every player in the whole chess game. So it means that I speak for myself now. I am too old to continue. [09:10] That means that, of course, I'm at the age where people do believe what I'm telling. And I'm telling the same thing like 30 years ago, but then I was the crazy pain in the ass guy. Circus man. Circus man. And now I'm the wise person. But what I do see is that when I stand in front of people, I still have the touch. [09:36] But I have moments that I forget things which I never had before. And that's why I don't want it. Michael, she's still fit and she could continue for 10 years, but we are a good team. So it's time to reduce. And also we want to train our own dogs. Yeah. We want to have fun doing our things too and making an accomplishment of ourselves besides polishing other people.
[10:03] So it means also that, and you guys know that if you stand hands on dogs, we know what a dog is. It's a good working dog. But in the school, we must work all types of dogs, which is not easy. And you must be respectful. And what we always see is that when people go home, that's the moment they slowly really grab it. And once they go, a new group comes in and you must start from scratch again. [10:33] It's brutal hard. And then there is always one or two dogs where you must keep an eye on it because they can be quite explosive. And explosive means it can go in all directions. And then you must keep an eye on some people that go in competition with other people and they want to go too fast. And then you must slow them down. It's a very hard job. Hands on dogs is brutal hard on us. [11:00] So that's why Michael and I, in the new system, we're going to go for only theory. And the existing Nepopu gold people, by becoming gold multiplicators, they will do the hands on dogs for minimum 40 hours, minimum five days. And in your specialty, that means that I think that worldwide we have between 300 and 500 Nepopu gold people. [11:32] Not all of them want to be on the website because there is a lot of people that for legal reasons in Europe, they don't want to be on the website. For sportive reasons, they don't want to be linked to Nepopu because Nepopu is the devil. And then they are kicked out of FCI or whatever the competition is. So there is a lot of reasons why they did not want to be on the website. [11:57] And then there is a lot of military people, Ben, that you know that special forces, they are not allowed at all to be on website and on Facebook and on whatever social media. And we respect all that. But worldwide, between 300 and 500 people, and from those 300 to 500, all of them are qualified. Maybe not all of them want to do it. And if they want to do it, the public must accept them. [12:23] And then maybe it's time to Sophie to reveal the whole system. And Sophie, it's your baby. We'll let you do it. We kick off. Nepopu silver, the new silver. Where do we kick off? We kick off in USA, Springfield, Missouri. No. 15th till the 17th of March, 23. Yeah. So we have an incredible venue there. [12:53] It's the Bass Pro. That's known in USA for the biggest adventure store, I guess, Bart. It's the biggest outfitter of the USA. And they are the owners of what they call Cabelas. Cabelas, which was in Europe and in Australia worldwide, also known as the biggest outfitter for adventure and hunting, which is now Bass Pro.
[13:18] And Bass Pro, the headquarters are in Springfield. So Sophie has that marketing touch. She did fine. I would never have found it. And I'm an hour away. But I have no talents with that kind of thing. I just, no. We would not have dared to contact them. No. Sophie there. So she make contact. It's a beautiful place. It's a beautiful place. [13:44] And it will be great to have everybody there. So we are going for three days. It will be, the classes will be taught by Michael and Bart, of course. It will be eight hours a day of theory. And we will have there 100 students if we have this enrollment. And what is included, we include in the price, we include, of course, three days of theory. [14:16] Then also the breakfasts, three days, the lunches and the dinners. And a PT, 3000 with finger kick and micro. So that's included in the price. Yeah. So this means we have this all for, we are going to say the price already, I think. Yeah. [14:41] It's about $2,695. And then you will be, after participating there and after doing the exam with 90%, you will be a new silver graduate. Yeah. Yeah. So. About determination, can I just interfere here? Ben, you guys were the lucky ones that only had to answer 20 questions from the hundreds. [15:10] Because I was, I'm not kidding. Now they must answer 100 questions. 105 questions. It's brutal. At the moment. Yeah. And they must make 90. 90%. 90%. In the days, in the beginning, I was the nice teacher. I said, 100 questions. Pick out the 20 ones that you want to answer. 101 is two. Two and two is four. In the earlier schools, we saw that people couldn't pass it if we didn't. [15:39] It was hard. But now there are people. It was a tough test. You made us do that. You made us do the 400. Really? Yeah. In Australia. Yeah. Yeah. The last time, maybe. But not the first school. Yeah. Not the first school. Yeah. Okay. So you were. We smashed it, eh? Yeah. Okay. I remember I corrected your examination and I had to help a little bit to make you make 90. [16:09] Nah, I smashed it. But you're remembering wrong. Now, the first few days, I was a bit lost, if I'm honest. The first few days, I was way above my depth. It was a struggle. It was a real struggle. Exactly. So that means that Sophie announces now, instead of five days, we compromise to three days. It's going to be a tough call. The whole world is we're going to speak in English.
[16:36] Yes. Because they're going to come from the whole world. And 100 people, we are sure that after this, Sophie will be harassed by emails. It will start. And then, very fast, we must decide to open a second one immediately. And that will be, again, we'll be in the States. What can I say? I mean, when there is not enough people coming, well, then we know that we are not hot anymore. [17:05] So, I mean. But let's a little bit talk about once you get your new silver. So, once you get your new silver, you want to go for gold, of course. So, new gold. New gold. Yeah. So, Bart already explained that he don't want to have hands-on dogs any longer. So, that's why we are going to work with our current gold students, gold graduates, to do this part. [17:39] So, that means that the gold graduates will be able to become a multiplicator. Yeah. Yeah. So, a multiplicator is somebody who has the knowledge, the accommodation, everything. The feeling that he wants to do it, to give gold further. [18:04] So, to teach gold. Yeah. And you could have a school that has one, a gold multiplicator could teach one person. Or they could have a school of three people. Yeah. But maximum 10. Maximum 10 people he can take in his new gold school. And a minimum of one a year are we asking for. So, we will also send an email the coming days to all gold graduates concerning this multiplicator. [18:37] And how to become a multiplicator. And then they can let us know. And they will also be listed then on the new website. Because we are going to launch also a new website end of November. And there you can see as when you are a silver graduate. A new silver graduate. There you can see who can be your coach. So, your teacher for the new gold. [19:03] Yeah. Or if you're a silver graduate. Yeah. So, there are also still a lot of silver graduates that didn't come to gold. Or they could not come to gold due to COVID. Because the last two years the traveling was impossible for everybody. Yeah. So, also they will have the possibility now to make new gold. So, and after the multiplicator tells us that they succeeded. [19:35] You will also have the certificate of the new gold graduate. Yeah. So, and you can also. The only thing is that the new gold people cannot become multiplicators. No. They cannot. Maybe after a few years when Michael and I have desire again. They can come to us again.
[20:01] To finish. Or in those two, three years. Some of the existing multiplicators become so good. That they can give that course to become a multiplicator. That's possible. We'll see. So, some things you must massage programs. And you must go with the flow. So, I wouldn't say it's impossible to be a new gold and become a multiplicator. [20:28] But right now that's not set up. And right now it's only the gold people who can become multiplicators. Yeah. But they can become it only by applying. So, they don't have to pass a new course or something. So, they only can now tell us, okay, I'm ready for that. And they will be a multiplicator now. Yeah. And then the public will decide. [20:55] Well, yeah. It's a public choice. I mean, and there is a big industry going on for the moment. Pet obedience is huge. Puppy training is huge. By the way, Sophie, your husband Sven will be together with another gentleman. And the only people doing mepopo on horses, which is a huge market. And he did. It was incredible. [21:21] It was really amazing. And I should like to tell something to the whole world. By training that horse the last week myself. And I train the horse like I train a dog in the old mepopo. So, with the horse, I do old mepopo. The first step is I show the animal with pressure what I want him to do. And I link it immediately to the low levels of the stim, which is 1 milliamp. [21:53] And I do left heeling, right heeling, stop, walk away, come to me, walk, trot, gallop, whoa, changing gears. It works perfect. You cannot believe. And I don't know about horse riding. And the horse is happier than he's ever been in his life. It's an Amish horse that we got who was a little bit in a halfway coma. [22:20] We were thinking we had a donkey. Yeah. And after Sven worked in, Sven said, hey, my God, that horse is, there is a lot of gold under that charcoal. Yeah. But you must scratch a little bit. And you find it. And I said, huh? Gold? The biggest quality of Amish horses is they are stable. You cannot believe. Stable. You can switch on a chainsaw two feet away. They don't. [22:45] Even that plastic bag up in the air, flinging it around with the wind going through it. They are stable like rocks. He's sleeping through it. And then it's what we need in dog training. Yeah. And a stable, stable animal. Yeah. And a better stable, untrained animal. Yeah. Than a nervous rat that knows sit down, stand still, and kung fu, and karate. And at the end, it's nothing, eh? I mean of course yeah but it's like I said
[23:13] he's very happy now he's galloping to the gate and his ears are always up and even when he's getting worked his ears are up and he's looking around and he's very happy to go back to the point of the Nepopo new silver and Nepopo new gold two questions what Michael and I did wrong in the past was we did not reach enough people [23:39] because today there is a very strong direction that tries to stop everything with animals in human hands domesticated animals we call it animal right people and they play with it is forbidden without valid reason to inflict pain or to make in this case the dog suffering [24:05] so we try always to make a dog do on cue with heart and soul but always with that legal framework as our path to go and we are so pissed that we did not reach the whole world because we are catching up and we are hosing a fire with a little bit drips of water but you cannot host that fire so we could not reach [24:31] enough people in our career and of course we were not ripe enough to reach more people for example me for years I was the secret winning spies behind the scenes of the top sport people and of course they never mentioned the magic hand behind it and then slowly it became more popular but now we are at the point where Michael and I decided the whole world [24:57] must know we have nothing to hide it's like with horses you cannot believe if we show little videos how people menace us private messages they want to kill us but they don't see that the animal is happy feed well we double check the animal every day there is something very special going on in the world I mean people towards people [25:23] people towards animals and at the end you know there is a little gimmick of that lady and that gentleman walking beside the donkey and then the reactions of the people are how stupid you are you have a donkey you should sit on it and then the lady sits on the donkey and then the reactions are how you dare the man is the boss in the family the man must be on the donkey and then you put the man on the donkey and then the reactions [25:48] are what a muscle schist are you you are a women hater and whatever you do there is always something wrong it's unbelievable so and they talk they talk they talk and they never walk never and a lot of people I'm gonna asking hey Bart why on horses the electronics we don't need that since years well that's true
[26:13] but maybe another approach can also be successful well also it's nice because you have you don't have to be physical we saw when Sven arrived he had to be quite physical with this horse because it's a very quiet horse that isn't so he was quite physical and people have no problem with that yeah but when you add a very low electronic [26:39] you take and you're pairing it with your mechanics that work that are working you can hand that over to somebody else who's not maybe so physical and the animal understands it perfectly we detune that e-color for that horse from 1 milliamp and level 18 is 1500 milliamps in reality when it's the normal tuning [27:04] 18 is 200 then close to 40,000 so it's very nothing yeah it's very it's nothing and now we just press the rising stim until the animal reacts it's beautiful right we are so frustrated that people don't grab it tuning they don't grab it we always are 20 years ahead of the whole thing [27:30] slowly it will come but people are missing the basics of everything so it means that a lot of things that Michael and I do is in my language they say pearls for pigs it's not nice to speak like that but we are 20 years ahead of everything 20 years and that's why the whole industry is in problems because they have archived tools what can I say [27:55] yeah they haven't it's like people haven't worked out that an electric collar when used on these low levels and used correctly and clearly it's actually much less invasive than physical than the physical options well the little the little ride that I showed when my horse was tossing his head and I just sat [28:20] there and did nothing I just pressed with my finger kick on level two which is four milliamps and the people got so upset I got a lot of hate mail I got unfriended because I was using two on my horse but it was nice because I did cause no damage I didn't ruin my relationship with him I didn't yank on his mouth I didn't do any physical it was solved [28:46] in three days it was less it was less stressful than the alternatives it was much less stressful yes and clear timing clear yes but like I said there were there are old time horse people that really objected and and found it very offensive and un horsemanship like you know what I always seen horse world because I'm not
[29:11] a horse person not at all I always see somebody sitting on the horse I never see a horse man from 200 yards away telling the horse go stop come back up left right walk trot canter I never see that we do that with dogs I never see a person telling his horse left right I don't want [29:37] to sit and stand still but it's basic things that we knew in dog world 40 years ago and we just implement that and it works well it does not make me a good rider I will be a sack of potatoes on a horse I admit that and I have no problem with that but there is something but you have a bond with your horse yes but it goes back to dog training the same thing there is so much that people [30:02] must learn that it is not about that little food you give it's not about the toy the animal must respect you you must have a bond with that animal that animal must liking to be with you must have a little bit respect for you also because if they like you too much they hump you I mean brutal and sex what was the name of that paradigm group brutality and sex well oh my gosh [30:28] sex and violence I think it was yeah okay sex and violence you like that it's a good name you're fired now Sophie but you're fired there's not enough violence and not enough sex oh yeah I mean the Nepopo new silver will be very good and [30:55] now that Michael and I are 100% owners of Martin System and financially we become stronger and stronger we can give a nice kick into people that for the money which is half money of the normal theory half money now and they have a nice place and everything is better the only thing that changes is instead [31:20] of three five days it's three days so it will be brutal and the other thing I wanted to mention is at the silver the new silver school in Springfield we're gonna have some multiplicators there so that's another thing that the new silvers will get to see some gold graduates and also the Martin System team and Sophie [31:45] will also be there there is only place for 20 multiplicators so it means that in every break the new silver they can speak to them can or in the meal times they can speak to each other every multiplicator can speak about their speciality and their program and some people will have a 20 day program we don't care or a six month program we don't
[32:11] care the minimum is 40 hours five days we want to avoid that somebody says 40 hours in two days because there's 48 hours in two days but that's not so that's why there's a minimum hours minimum days but it could be and it could be more expensive for months could be a year program we don't care that means that you guys [32:36] because you are gold you guys will compete with each other on quality on dreaming daring doing I mean we will see new things coming on and Michael and I we are very keen on Facebook and social media we check that every day so I spend half an hour a day and I go fast over it but I'm [33:01] amazed to see that with so much good stuff I'm amazed so it's nice so it means that by accident Michael and I did do something right so we see that more and more people are passing the message on cue with heart and soul the animal must look good the nails must be cut I mean where are we wrong well you [33:26] train with food you withhold food no we don't withhold food we give food but the animal withholds by not eating it what can I say so we don't withhold food yeah but we are brutal with electricity no read the dog we are not brutal with electricity yes it can be a part of the system is NEPOPO electronic training no it's not electronic training it's stopping the pressure and [33:53] yes if we work with food the food you put in the mouth must take a little bit the nagging discomfort from the stomach away that's a fact otherwise it cannot work so we try to make people understand that if you train with food you can train 95% of the dogs all dogs [34:18] need to eat if you train with toy you only train the best dogs of the world so you need much better quality of dogs so you already kick out 95% of the dog population if you only go for toys and prey we know that that's normally the best quality that's why we try to tell and food and prey and the whole thing [34:43] together but I mean I have to say our workers here we feed them every day we make them lunch we make them coffee we're like we work here with a lot of Amish people well like we cook for them I cannot follow them I cannot follow them in the work rhythm anymore so in the past I was taking the lead by staying in the front lines physically
[35:09] it doesn't work anymore so now I stay in the back lines and I do the catering I prepare food I give them energy to work harder and I serve them and they are not used to that and they bring them coffee we give them Belgian chocolate and remember you want to milk the cow you must feed the cow that's an old Belgian sentence it's a good one it's marketing [35:35] I mean it's the same thing if we don't do this podcast then the whole world can invite us for podcasts you were the first to jump on it so I mean we are not cruel people but you did see whoa there is something going on you say hey I want to do a podcast about it you say yeah why not because other people will be pissed why we cannot do that podcast well you did not ask us well can I [36:01] say but we're not gonna do that every day huh no I mean it's redundant so sometimes there is so much podcast going on but the multiplicators that will come there's only 20 people available because we have only 20 tables available right at that venue maybe at other new silver schools like the new silver that will be in [36:26] Australia maybe there will be so I know already Sophie people are gonna matter you because number 21 you will say sorry too late right you snooze you lose I mean but that's what it is people don't understand how hard it is to organize and you are in when the money is in not when you la la la la around and yes multiplicators they will have to pay for their [36:51] dinner and the rest is for free I mean but it's a good networking and Michael and I celebrate the five years of purchasing Martin Systems there so we invite the whole team we invite our bookkeeper we invite everybody the biggest subcontractor we invited everybody because they want to see why is that little success company [37:17] what is because they know that we train dogs but they never saw it and they know that we train people but they never saw it the only thing they did see is that if we speak with the bank we have a strategy a plan and the banks are listening and it's a whoa and they see the figures they see that we make forecasts they see that we keep the forecast we make the budgets they see that we make the budgets but not
[37:42] in the beginning when we first bought Martin System oh yeah they didn't believe us and the other guy who wanted to buy Martin System who were a little bit fighting with they he he laughed and he said two two dog trainers want to buy Martin System that's really funny yeah and then what people don't know is the secret spies behind us is our bookkeeper of course yes our fantastic co-workers at [38:09] Martin Systems our business manager and then we have a business advisor he's also gonna come also because he's fantastic yeah he told us Michael Bart the next step is that you guys give a basic management school based on dog training and that's why he's come to listen to see if the school we give for dog trainers [38:35] could kick in for business people because he said you guys speak so simple but it's so to the point that this is the best manager course ever and you guys are successful in Martin Systems because you implement the consequences for doing and the consequences for not doing with one difference with people you cannot kick the ass with the whip anymore and you can't withhold their food and you cannot withhold their food but you [39:01] can kick them in the ass with a whip yeah well I did do that you gotta be careful though I did do that one my mom used to whip but he liked it so it was okay but it means that maybe that's the next step Sophie is that Sophie you're gonna have work you cannot believe a manager course and then you have all smart people there universities from this and university from and I'm [39:26] from this university it's amazing just sum that up the the multiplicators will be the people that have already got gold from you guys that did gold with you guys is that right yes yes and they will be able to do gold yes new gold new gold new gold [39:52] and new silver Michael and I will continue that and we will try to hit all continents for example we know that South America is in huge demand the big problem for South America is in which language because South America they are good in Spanish but English is not their strongest point [40:17] and translation is so hard and translation is not easy because it's like yesterday I did read something fantastic a neutered male and female is spaying spaying a neutered female is spayed spayed yeah neuter a male and then you spay a female and you spay
[40:43] and I was always thinking it's just they do it they call it spading because they do it with the spades they cut off everything with the spade that's translation I don't think that's what they do at the end it's what they do but they do it more sophisticated not with a spade not with a spade I don't think so vice and [41:09] sex what was it sex and violence oh my gosh Sophie is it with a spade are you kidding this topic at the bar in the evening with five six beers then the spades will fly around are you kidding me hey but South America is huge and they have [41:35] interest in dog training you cannot believe but we don't speak Spanish so we must find a way to find a good compromise where we can serve everybody then Dubai for all the Orient countries you cannot believe the new generation they all speak English in the past [42:00] due to religion they were not allowed to have dogs or to not keep dogs but more and more the younger generation do have dogs and they have abound with dogs and we see there is a huge demand so Dubai will be certainly a central point where Sophie will have the job to organize things [42:25] then United Kingdom is not part of Europe anymore United Kingdom must be served soon or later Europe it's a huge huge huge huge block that we did not serve the last two years Africa Africa what people don't understand is a huge market you cannot believe and Africa there is a lot of explosive dogs and [42:51] tatati and tatatada that we are not aware of in our last school the last gold school we had with us a very special guy he was the head security guy of what they call the left side of Africa west coast so he has all the security companies which means explosive guard dogs you cannot believe how big this market is so the gold [43:16] people have gold in their hands for the future it's a network you cannot believe and now the first idea Michael and I had 10 years ago was to make a franchising from the Nepal pool and that every gold people had to supply Michael and me one green dog prepared in Nepal pool and Michael and I would have paid the top price 25,000 for that green dog 25,000 [43:42] nobody pays that and then we would find the client for for example 100,000 for that dog and then the gold people that did or does sell that dog to us had to come to our facility we would bring in the customer and the gold person had to train that person for one two three weeks until the new buyer
[44:07] was ready to take over the dog and if they never became ready and if they never became ready then we don't sell it bye bye you did lose three weeks of our time 100,000 that was on the bank minus 15,000 and fuck off okay I mean of course because a dog that has been trained very well and then the buyer does not speak the language of [44:33] modern training it doesn't work like that hey Ben I never forget the dog Pope and I will not speak more about that but that dog was fantastically trained and I very seldom saw in my life a handler that could handle that dog so well in actions Ben trained Pope Ben trained Pope and that dog was high in dopamine I tell [44:58] you that and I think other things how old is Pope 10 years 10 years he'd be about six or seven seven years wow about six or seven yeah was an impressive dog and I remember another impressive dog in the army a dog that did not pass the test because it did not out well we did [45:23] put the little e-cola in the tail he did fly out and it passed the examinations if my memory is well so these are the dogs that due to good help can be very useful in the streets and in the human life so that makes us happy but to go back to our program there so Michael and I now have the power of money [45:49] to help a little bit with everything in the school and we can do things that we could not afford five or six years ago well five years ago as we said we're coming up on our five-year anniversary can't believe it's been five years but that was some hard times so means that nice things are coming it's just the beginning [46:14] of and we don't know where it goes so Michael and I we have always dreams and plans and we dare doing and we find people like Sophie that pull and pushes the locomotive and then we go with the flow a little bit and then we go with the flow a little bit yeah go with the flow then you see what new things come up when you go with the flow sometimes you have to shut the door but it means that [46:40] even we don't go for franchising because now that we we left that idea but it means that if one of the gold people are very smart and they block together they can start that little idea so I know that there is a few guys that are very good in that and it already started so we don't interfere there the thing is that the bigger the family
[47:05] and Sophie you will feel that the bigger the family the harder it is to keep the noses in the same direction that means that there is always jealousy there is always bitching we try to tell them behind the screens hey keep the noses in the same direction you must not kiss each other from love but respect each other and everybody has another way and that's it and if somebody is exaggerating we say hey behind the [47:30] screens and that's one thing I have to say I really appreciate and admire about you Ben is that you do your thing you do a very good job and you stay without talking about haters and this and that you just do your thing and keep it clean we really appreciate that yeah thank you and then people did [47:56] not understand but if we see ne popo without the r we most of the time Michael did write people hey please add the r because it's a registered trademark yeah it pay for it and you guys did pay and work hard to come in that family that's a protection of what you do so that's why we hammer on those things and why they would be upset [48:21] about it I don't know but and in the beginning people were a little bit upset and then for example I will before I share things I would try to write the person and say hey add the r and when you have the r I will share it so I try to be that nice cup you know we'll do that in the future she has that job and you will hurt fragile souls you know because you've hurt a few already [48:47] Sophie due to violence but I think that we went brutally over everything and that means that to summarize there is a kickoff of the Nepopo new silver in Springfield in the locations Bass Pro the price is 2,695 [49:13] for that you have three days of teaching for Mike and me the theory you will have a top infrastructure you will have a top parking you will have top food you will have breakfast lunch and dinner top teachers equipment yes you will have a PT 3000 a finger kick and a micro B in the price included meet the Martin system team speak [49:38] with multiplicators so it's a first plan other will follow when time is ripe we'll announce it maybe if there is too much people coming because that's what happening that happens with us also we want to close remember the last goal was one school well it's already nine schools I said to Michael
[50:03] Michael we're stopping we're stopping because people continue sending money and when there is money what can you do I said no more I don't want no more but Sophie you're gonna have that we say 100 people but it's possible that one day there is 100 payments have come in the same moment who do you kick out that happens that happens to me and it's not easy but that will happen and then we open a second school because if you [50:29] open from in the beginning two schools people are hopping from one plane on the other they go in that school and then they say oh my friend goes to the other and then Sophie they write you an email Sophie my daddy is nearly dead I must stay home but I can come to the next school it has nothing to do with their daddy dying they just want to be with their friend in that it's a hard job if I fly I snooze [50:55] I lose that means that I block my ticket by paying not by talking and we must be brutal hard to people because dog people are not used to that so dog people are not used to do business but it's a must because that bus pro event is not for nothing we must also pay that whole thing we must pay for the food everything and now what I should like to tell [51:20] is that we did change the venue because Jackie did do a fantastic job and we with pain in our heart we're gonna leave that facility but the problem is 40 people at Jackie's place are the maximum and that's hard it's very hard for them it's hard for her crew it's already hard for the crew it's already hard for the little street that brings to that facility [51:45] because we have an old street in how you call that dirt road imagine 100 people with a car come back and forth after one day there is no more road so there is different logistic reasons why we had to stop a good way of doing the school to another way what we learned from Jackie is that eating together is so important [52:11] the breakfast together the lunch together the dinner together she's the one who encouraged that so Jackie told us Michael Barton's important because we were not aware of that and yes that is 50% of the women it's the socialization that goes on eating well even at Martin System we always ate together and here with the Amish when they come we always
[52:36] try to eat together because then you aren't just work work work it's like you have some down time and you're speaking and you're making a little relationship well it's like we have this podcast of course we can speak from different continents of course we can have different business meetings on zoom or whatever but at the end having a drink together a dinner together it bounce better yes so whatever [53:02] you do it is important that you have that little dinner together a little drink together not too much a little drink but it's part of it there and then there is a little drink too much rise and shine in the morning that's very important and there you see the snoozers there is people that can talk at night you cannot believe but in the morning they're in the bed they lose [53:27] they lose our respect you gotta be able to back it up so I mean my strongest point over the years and that was part of the success was I was good in eating and drinking and I was better in rise and shine so I was always part of the event at the end I became a little bit [53:52] older and then I said at 10pm little guy goes away after six seven beers already yeah days I was always closing the gate and in the morning I was there top fit it's impossible but it was important and certainly beginning I mean so there Sophie is doing a fantastic job as she finds [54:17] a venue that we did not dare to dream about in another country in another country I couldn't even find that venue I'm in the state I'm an hour and away and she found it in another country and of course she asked us Michael can you go and check if it's good so we arrived there we know bus probe the other side which is if you come there you are like another world and then you must put your hands [54:43] on your wallets because it's not that they steal your money but you start buying like everything there yeah it's a fantastic but we are at the other side which is a convenience convention center conservation center it's beautiful you've it's like whoa when you come in it's like the [55:09] problem of such a nice venue is how can you beat that so Sophie you put the bar very high for the future if people in Dubai must better that they must come up with a fantastic venue if people in Australia wants to beat that it's not easy and beating it with paying a lot of money that's easy but you must beat it by staying in the budget business
[55:35] it's fantastic it's fantastic so feel that there is something great going on and at the end the whole idea is that everybody accepts dogs on cue with heart and soul and however people train if you watch the dog it must be powerful you must see desire and if you don't see desire [56:01] there is something wrong no matter how they did it it didn't work a good friend of ours Barry did send me scientific tests about sniffing dogs and the main the key point again was intermittent reward sometimes you reward and sometimes you don't reward and that gave the [56:26] best results because people always think rewarding rewarding rewarding well if you reward reward reward your bloody dog falls asleep intermittent reward that you keep him sprinkling so I did not read the rest because 12 pages again makes me sick what I do miss again is it's professors that never train the [56:51] dog that train a dog they don't tell direct reward or indirect reward they don't tell what type of reward so I miss a lot of things but that's science so in the name of science but it was the intermittent reward that was making the good results and that makes us very happy because we learned that by professor Sapolsky and that's one of the videos that [57:16] people must see when they come to the school half of them of course never look to that thing so we have to tell it again but I mean intermittent reward it's strong so it means that you guys have a future in front of you with dogs you cannot believe it's something coming the knowledge it's exploding it's beautiful to watch and then what totally [57:42] amazes me is that people stay on bite work nose work is the future and there you Ben I see that you teach nose classes with it's fantastic the nose is the future of the dog for the moment there is no liability maybe that will come liability means when the dog doesn't find the bomb what's [58:08] the consequences or when the dog thinks there is a bomb and they close the airport for two days what's the consequence for the moment there is no consequence it will come yeah so and when it comes you must be able to prove what you do how you do and la la la la you have more questions than I read your eyes you look to your paper or you look to your drink how you look your beer is that it [58:33] no my beer is not empty yet Sophie what did we forget you are the marketing it's mine we didn't forget anything at all you said everything we need to say now I think and it's important it's one hour now yeah I think it's important if they are interested that they can send
[58:58] us an email and we will send everything for you type that email on her screen Sophie at napoportraining.com that's where all the information and it's funny you see I wrote to the gold school students and I said only contact Sophie and you see they still get back to me they don't read [59:24] yeah I don't know how to write stuff on hang on let me try S-O-P-H-I-E S-O-P-H I don't know if this will come up but I'll give it a go uh-huh ! Sophie at napoportraining.com one word yeah okay [59:56] yeah that's it okay I've sent that but I think only we can see that I'm not sure but what I'll do is I'll put it in the comments on the um on the post and then what I should like to tell people is that and now I speak for myself I did not have passion anymore for training my own [60:21] animals and I must say by training that horse and by seeing that immediate success of a basic concept I did find my passion back to train my own dogs and passion means I was always a guy with a little hand and lately I did not have that little hand anymore because I had no more passion so passion is so important for the dog [60:47] but it's also important for the dog trainer yes lately I did see two world champs two champs one in the SFAR world Isabel is the wife of Mr. Ring from GAPAI she became German champ I did see that lady a few times she has passion and she comes out of the horse world she was trained [61:13] to be a professional equestrian lady to manage so her background is horses she became German champ German shepherd it was written in the stars then Hendrik the champ of the RSV 2000 is the world champ I remember that guy 10 years ago Hendrik [61:38] don't be mad Hendrik was a little bit clumsy with dogs he was not the golden touch boy I saw that immediately but he had passion you cannot believe passion he was driven that gentleman now is world champ RSV so it means that passion is the key and if you have passion it will fine tune you it will make you better and better and better [62:04] so I remember that gentleman he was organizing seminars seminars not schools 10 years ago together with another gentleman Hendrik became world champ RSV so it's amazing to see how people can grow from a little bit clumsy world champ because nobody would think about that and
[62:29] then I see very talented people that never go nowhere because tomorrow they do rock climbing and then they do mountain climbing and then they do skydiving and they change and change they do 10,000 things but nothing good yes they are talented but they float on talent but they are lazy what can I say so you have to have the passion it's just like in the talent code you have [62:54] to have that ignition which is the whatever the buzz word that we're passing around but you must have the ignition to do that deep practice dog training with a dog with no ignition is like driving a car with no gasoline if you have no gasoline you push and you pull that car you don't want that car and in dog training they push and pull [63:19] the dog and that's why it works in three times not today not tomorrow never and that's why a dog getting that ignition getting that hope getting that passion the dog will make your training go so fast you know Sophie what was the most important part of this little podcast for Michael and me knowing that you have a high degree marketing that we [63:45] did not know well well well it's good to be in a podcast now and then yeah maybe next time we find out new things then I think that we are a few minutes over our one hour before being boring I think that we should close Mike we have something to say to close Sophie Ben Sophie thanks for [64:10] being on the podcast you did great and I really look forward to years working with you you're fantastic Ben thank you for the podcast we appreciate you and even though we're far and we don't speak much and I'm very short but Sophie thank you don't be amazed that you will receive a lot of demands from wifi night videos because they know your nickname now hey Sophie [64:38] at apopotraining.com yeah that's it yeah thank you guys it was for me also the first podcast that I did with you and we're going to have a great time it's going to be huge and it's going to be great and I think it's going to be the language of new dog training yeah hey [65:03] thanks very much guys I really appreciate your time hopefully I'll see you in March aha trying to push himself on the list Sophie he's pushing we like that we like the pushers yeah number one on the list Sophie okay okay number one all right explain it to my wife okay good [65:28] explain it to your wife okay bye thank you thanks so much bye everybody bye bye bye Kaizen K9 - The Next Evolution 15 October 2022 15 October 2022 - Kaizen K9 - Interview The Next Evolution.
