There's a lot to be said for teaching a dog to agree to having their nails done, right? So the fact that I can look at his feet and check the nails and look at his toenails and see what needs to be done and that he can relax is really a pretty big benefit. And actually, it took a long time before I got serious about teaching Brita. I used to get three people to do his nails. So my husband would hold him and one person would feed him and I would do his nails and it was really unpleasant. So there's something to be said if you're struggling to teaching your dog to tolerate having his feet handled and his toenails. And I can also hold his face and remove things from his eyes. And I can use scissors and clip the little hairs around his face. I can look at his nose. I can look at his mouth and see if there's any issues. That's all training. And if you are having some troubles with it, you might want to take the class on canine cooperative care because you'll find that your life is a lot more present. And if I do get him up, you'll notice that he's pretty happy to just kind of stick around, right? So that's all part of training is just teaching your dog that putting up with canine care and vet care is actually very much in your best interest. And it's a lot more pleasant. Let's see.
