Okay, we're going to start out by giving her a free cookie or two. Just hand them to her. Next cookie's going to go under my thumb. The reason for putting the cookie under my thumb is it's less visible. Now, good girl. She knows to come and find it. Dogs are smart that way, right? So, I don't want her going to the back of my hand. I want to teach her a front-of-hand target. So, I'll let her figure it out. She gets to the front, she gets the cookie.
